OU softball's dominance continued on Saturday, extending their winning streak at the Troy Cox Classic. The Sooners took care of business in their first game of the day, run-ruling Minnesota 12-2 in Las Cruces, New Mexico. OU starter Sydney Berzon allowed two earned runs in two innings, while Miali Guachino recorded the win, striking out five batters in three scoreless innings. Juniors Ella Parker and Kasidi Pickering led the way offensively, finishing with a home run apiece and a combined six RBIs. Ailana Agbayani was a perfect 4 for 4 at the plate. The Sooners dominated Montana 17-0 and New Mexico State 18-6 on the first day of competition. OU will face Idaho State at 1 p.m. on Sunday. The Oklahoma vs. Minnesota game starts at 10 a.m. CT on Saturday, and can be streamed on ESPN+. Chris Plank will have the OU radio call on The Franchise 2 (KEBC 1560 AM) and the Varsity Radio App. If you miss the game, you can follow the highlights on the OU_Softball Twitter feed. But here's where it gets controversial... Some fans might argue that the Sooners' dominance is a result of their strong lineup, rather than their pitching. And this is the part most people miss... The Sooners' success on the field is not just about their individual performances, but also about their team dynamics and strategy. So, what do you think?
