OU's Offensive Line Boost: A Transfer Portal Addition
Oklahoma's football team has bolstered its offensive line with a transfer portal addition. The Sooners have secured a commitment from Peyton Joseph, a talented tackle with a promising future.
Joseph, a former four-star recruit, initially committed to Florida State but ended up at Georgia Tech. Despite his high potential, he didn't get much playing time as a true freshman, appearing in just one game with four snaps. However, his size and talent are undeniable, standing at 6-foot-4 and 305 pounds.
With the departure of Derek Simmons, Joseph could be in line for playing time at right tackle. His addition to the team brings a much-needed depth to the offensive line, joining Caleb Nitta (Western Kentucky) and E'Marion Harris (Arkansas) as recent portal additions.
The transfer portal window is set to close on January 16th, so the Sooners are making the most of this opportunity to strengthen their roster. For those interested in staying updated on Oklahoma football and recruiting, consider subscribing to OUInsider for exclusive insights and the latest news.
